A POEM BY EDGAR ALLAN POE⠀•⠀CALLIGRAPHED THREE TIMES BY EILEEN GUSTAFSON

This broadside suite presents Edgar Allan Poe’s A Dream Within A Dream in triplicate: one poem calligraphed three times on three handmade papers. With each rendition, calligrapher Eileen Gustafson unravels the poem further, emphasizing in turns the poem’s serenity, its confusion and, finally, its insanity. The Paper Foundation has provided three remarkable hand-made papers for this effort.

In a departure for the press, we are presenting these broadsides in a stiff straight-backed folder, which can be shelved alongside books.
